The Phoenix Vision
Building a sustainable, inclusive, creative community.
Phoenix is an independent and fiercely passionate organisation formed by the creative vision of Holly Williams.
With the support and creative assistance of Joey Edwards and Kyli Ferguson Phoenix came to actuality back in October 2021.
Since opening our doors to students, parents, carers and friends we have pledged ourselves to the ever evolving path we have for Phoenix.
Phoenix is a place for everyone who wishes to further their knowledge and experience of the creative arts.
Together we are forging a sustainable future for these viable career and lifestyle choices within our community.
Here we pledge our principals, our cause and our heart.
We are, as a faculty and as an institution, a family. We promote values of unity, strength in community, creativity and diversity and above all equality. We strive to give our students as much as feasibly possible whilst making our tuition as financially viable to the wider community - I am pleased to say that our tuition fees and opportunities are unrivalled, as is the quality of our tuition and the experience, passion, and qualification of those who lead our programmes within academy - between us we have over fifty years teaching and industry experience and are proud to say that there are no hidden costs to our courses.
But, yes, there is always a but. As with any great thing comes great responsibility. And it is our responsibility to make the arts a viable and accessible part of our community and to show our students that WE, supporters of culture, we make it viable for each other.
Through our contribution to these cultural industries we broaden our experiences, our relationships and our opportunities.
The Phoenix Arts Foundation is a noon-profit organisation and through fundraising and donations we are able to offer opportunities to our community and our students which enrich and develop our Phoenix family.
The Phoenix Arts Foundation also provides opportunities for students that are not covered by tuition fees such as productions and events and eventually, we hope, the actuality of a community-owned creative studio space for us all to use and enjoy as we see fit.
With investment of time, love and occasionally pennies, comes opportunity. And as I have told so many of you already, this is only the beginning.
Whilst we reflect upon the year behind us and just how much magic we have made, let us look forward to the year in front of us with wonder and excitement at all of the magic there is yet to come.
